Suitable for 16mm Pipework – The low Panels are “dual-purpose”, meaning they can be used both underneath tiles and under floating floors such as Engineered and Laminate flooring. There are two different installation methods which must be adhered to for each flooring type. The same EPS 400 kpA grade is used throughout and we do not offer inferior grade polystyrene for different floor coverings.
Utilising 400kPa grade highly effective Polystyrene and a bonded 200-micron aluminium heat diffuser to evenly and rapidly spread the transfer of heat across the floor and ensuring end-user receives the best possible heat output – It’s no wonder they are the ideal solution for the vast majority of wet underfloor heating installations.
Lite Dual-Purpose overlay panels are ultra-strong, lightweight, simple to install and can accept a multitude of different floor coverings such as laminate, engineered wood, and porcelain/ceramic tiles, meaning they are the ideal choice for customers who are yet to decide a finished floor covering.
Lite panels are the ONLY panels on the market that have been approved from the ground up by a recognised leader in the tile adhesives and levelling compound market and member of The Tile Association, Instarmac Group PLC, meaning you or the installer has complete peace of mind when it comes to installing this system.
Available in 2 thicknesses (20mm/16mm) the Lite Dual-Purpose overlay panels can accommodate 2 different thickness of pipework, depending on the installation.

Pipe Spacing of 150mm are applicable for both 20mm and 16mm panels
Each panel is 1200×600 (0.72m2) in coverage meaning you would need 14 boards to cover a 10m2 area for example.
