The manifold bypass may be required when using electronic controls without a delay. The bypass allows the pump to function without needing the actuators to by fully opened. It’s main function is allowing a minimum flow to be maintained through the boiler to prevent boilers locking out when minimum flow rates cannot be reached. This is usually due to small areas using short pipe circuits.
The manifold bypass can be located on the right side or left side between the manifold and pump. If mounting on the right side, end caps will be necessary on both the flow and return to seal the bypass at each end. The bypass comes pre-assembled with eurocone pipe connectors and angled pipe already in place, ready to bolt straight onto our range of underfloor heating manifolds.
